TERNS at YNYSLAS

I'm not really obsessed by colour-rings on birds, but anyway, here is another.
There was a high tide gathering of 150 Sandwich Terns at Ynyslas this morning. Juvs made up a sizeable proportion and one had a yellow ring, marked ECL.
Hopefully I will get some details back and will put them on the blog.
The Manx Shearwaters off Borth in the morning were quite close to the shore and in impressive numbers but in the afternoon, they were further out but in a stupendously huge and dense gathering with Gannets plunging in amongst them.
