From the Heron hide, yesterday, I was really surprised to see this deer walking across some open water before disappearing into a reed bed, although its anters could still be seen. A smaller female never left the cover of the reeds. I was told they were Sika deer.
From the Kingfisher hide while listening to but not seeing Water Rails, this swan appeared, or was it a Heron?
