"Shopping" in Aberystwyth

Spent a couple of hours in Aber around lunchtime today and was lucky to get 4 Purple Sands on the jetty rocks together with a lone Rock Pipit. Moving on to College Rocks there were 23 Turnstones and local feral Pigeons feeding in the surf but no sign of any Ringed Plover. Two Black Redstarts on the College roof from St Michael's car park, the stunning male and an almost as attractive female together with another Rock Pipit. On the drive in there were 15-20 Red Kites on the hill just before Bow Street and a "safety camera van" in the lay-by by the school.
