I know that it is a bird blog but I couldn't resist putting my picture of a freshly emerged Marsh Fritillary on it. I counted 4 at a site near my house at Cross Inn. Also there were about 8 Small Pearl Bordered Fritillaries but they wouldn't pose for me.
