Manxies and a balearic
Another morning with thousands of shearwaters in Borth bay. An estimated 19,000 manx shearwaters (probably an under estimate) were rafting and moving off Ynyslas turn this morning. Most were passing in large groups just off shore which made it easier to go through the flocks. One balearic shearwater south at 0715 was the only other shearwater picked out. Around 250 gannets were also feeding off-shore with about 160 sandwich terns. No other sea birds of note.
