This morning Janet Baxter photographed a Gull-billed tern amongst the throng of Sandwich terns at Ynyslas. The birders gathered there prior to the high tide this evening hoping the bird was still around were rewarded with excellent views of it and glorious sunshine.
Amongst other birds seen were 3 Black-tailed godwit, a single Common tern and perhaps our last few Swifts of the year.
