As Janet was photographing the Gull-billed Tern yesterday morning I was nearby at the point with Tony Allenby and his friend Ina looking through the high tide wader roost.
As expected, most were Dunlin and Ringed Plover, with approximate counts of 1050 and 305 respectively.
Also a very good count of 74 Sanderling, plus 3 Turnstones and 2 Knot, one of which flew off into the estuary where it later appeared on one of Janet's photos.
P.S.
Two Swifts over Lledrod early this morning.
