We have a place in Aberporth and my wife was there 2 weeks ago and awoke to see this commotion going on in the bay. Knowing that I am keen on birds, but working abroad, she got the video camera out and shot some 8 minutes worth of what I think is amazing footage.
To start with there’s some impressive footage of Gannets repeatedly diving en mass quite close into the bay, but having seen Gannets diving before, I was more impressed by the video- maybe halfway in – of the Shearwaters (Manx I presume) also feeding, which I’ve personally not seen on this scale before – especially not so close to shore.
