Following Bob in the Hunt for Waxwings
A short visit to Machynlleth this afternoon was rewarded with the sight of about 45 Waxwings in the trees at the top end of the town. Interestingly they are now feeding on the ground as there are no berries left on the trees. I managed to photograph one bird which was ringed -(perhaps the same bird that Emyr had photographed earlier in the week). As far as I can ascertain it looks as if it had been rung in Norway.
