A trip to Cors Caron today (Sunday 2nd) produced 43 species including: herring gull, wood pigeon, blue tit, great tit, blackbird, jackdaw, carrion crow, magpie, jay, several red kite, goldfinch, chaffinch, coal tit, house sparrow, dunnock, robin, fieldfare, starling, bullfinch, redwing, nuthatch, long tailed tit, wigeon, teal, mallard, moorhen, lesser redpoll, raven, wren, buzzard, snipe, hen harrier (male showing well on two occasions), meadow pipit, greater spotted woodpecker, black headed gull, reed bunting, common gull, mistle thrush, golden eye, tufted duck, little grebe, pochard, and a greenfinch.
