Kite Feeding Station

I understand that the feeding station above Trefilan has closed this autumn. Though I've never stopped to count too precisely, there often seemed to be about a hundred birds present. I wonder how its closure will affect their overwintering survival? At Llanrhystud yesterday a Bar-tailed Godwit, 100 Curlews, 5 Red-throated Divers and 4 Grey Plovers.
