The Brambling visiting the feeder on my balcony this morning is a different individual to the one seen several times recently. This one is a handsome, well-marked male, the previous one was a female. Today it is in company with lots of Chaffinches, Greenfinches and Siskins plus Blue, Coal and Great Tits and a pair of Nuthatches.
They're getting through the seed at a rate of about 2 inches per hour!
