A Redwing feeding on apples on our lawn on Jan 2nd was unexpected given that the temperature is 10/11 degrees. Normally they visit these lower elevations in much colder weather.
 
Re the Grey Squirrels clutching onto trouser legs (see previous Ceredigion birdblog postings), I wonder if they have read Robin Page's very sensible observations in the Daily Torygraph on these non-indegenous invasive species? They are certainly not welcome in my garden.
