Had a single great crested grebe at southern end of Borth, and water pipit, ringed plover and meadow pipit at Ynyslas car park around mid day, and water pipit, 2 knot, 2 bar tailed godwit and a dozen oystercatcher from the same car park this evening.
Some of the species from a walk along the Cletwwr and out onto the saltings included spoonbill, 6 little egret, 35+ white fronted goose, redshank, lapwing, golden plover, snipe, song thrush, mistle thrush, 40+ shellduck, female sparrow hawk, red kite, 2 buzzard, and canada goose.
Also very good views of 2 water rail from Covert Du hide at Ynys Hir yesterday evening. Were feeding out in the open for over 15 minutes and were still on show when we left!
