Have attached photo of Buzzard in our garden (at Llwyn y Groes, between Tregaron & Lampeter) taken on the 17th March, should anyone be interested.
Also thought birders may be interested in us having had a ringed female Blackbird in the garden for the first part of the year. I first noticed it in December 2010 and it turned out to have been ringed just a month before in Friesland, the Netherlands. I did not notice it again until this year when I managed to confirm (by many attempts at photographing it!!)that it was indeed the same bird. No-one else has reported it so not sure where it has been inbetween times. I have not confirmed seeing it in the last few weeks but it had seemed to pair up so may well still be in the neighbourhood. I will continue to observe just in case!!
