Newquay and Llechryd

Having seen 2 Iceland Gulls reported on Bird Guides yesterday at Newquay fish factory I had a look this afternoon. Despite looking through many hundred gulls there I couldn't find an Iceland. The only white winger was a very smart adult Med gull with a full black hood.
Out to sea there was a Red-throated Diver.
Another Brambling was ringed in my garden in Llechryd yesterday so having never seen any on the feeders before this year we have now ringed two. See TRG blog. Another 19 Siskin and a Lesser Redpoll ringed today too.
