Thanks to Andre I went down to Ynyslas and the Leri bridge only to learn that the Spoonbill had been seen flying off towards the Glandwr part of Borth Bog.
Not deterred, and delighted to be away from the blizzard-type conditions up at Trisant, I made my way to Glandwr and had great views of the bird, feeding, resting and twice flying around in the sunshine.
As the setting sun sank behind some cloud it took off to roost further out on the bog.
