Buster and I are just back from our afternoon walk at Ynyslas. There were c250 Golden Plover in the field beside the boatyard, many of them coming in to breeding plumage. To add to today's raptor count I saw a Merlin on a post in the same field and a Kestrel flying beside the road as I drove to the turn car park.
