RIP.
Found today in our logpile a perfectly fresh female barnie without any signs of physical trauma. Weighing in at 200grammes which Tony Cross says is 100gr or a third underweight, it certainly felt thin. The ring revealed it to be an adult female which bred in a box along the railway on Cors Caron last year. It was caught and ringed as an adult so age unknown.
We haven't had any wood mice scampering about under the sink, first year since we moved in 12 years ago, I wonder if that is significant? If they have been eaten it wasn't by this one.
