'Spring has Sprung'
The grass is undoubtedly a lot greener today after the rain. With the improved weather has come some more spring migrants. In and around the garden today - the first Blackcap of the year under the garden feeders, Willow Warbler in treees alongside the river, a Robin carrying nesting material, Bullfinches back on the Amelanchier - always appear as the buds start to break and overhead - about a dozen House Martins, hawking for air-borne insects.
