A question of balance

I feel that I should point out that for me, a lack of patience when I go birding is not a strategy, but rather, something more akin to a neurological affliction. However, arsing, taken to an extreme (arsing about), would result in one never leaving the car park at Llanrhystud and seeing all those wonderful warblers. Likewise, today I went for a long walk along the valley of Nant Clywedog Ganol and up in to the forestry plantations. If I hadn't of legged it I would never have got to the top at Bryn Glas, where I heard two Cuckoos and almost trod on an indignant-looking Grasshopper Warbler.
