The star of the show today (Monday 6th) was the Grasshopper Warbler, with three reeling at the bottom of Pendinas (near that hexagonal wooden shelter by the cycle track) early in the morning and two by the Leri at midday. One of the birds at Pendinas showed incredibly well, it wasn't bothered by my presence at all and even had a preen out in the open.
Also at Pendinas: Numerous Sedge Warblers and Whitethroats, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Stonechat.
And by the Leri we had the same species plus a few Reed Warbler, at least 6 male Reed Bunting, 2 Common Sandpiper, 1 male Whinchat and a basking Adder.
