There was a mixed flock of a couple of dozen hirundines over Glandwr this afternoon with a lone swift in amongst them. Walking along the track I encountered two groups of reed buntings, 9 in the first and 7 in the second. There were no adult males and only a couple that looked like adult females, I'm pretty sure they were almost all juveniles. There was one sedge warbler with the first group and a goosander was making its way upstream near the railway bridge.
