b) very very occasionally on the rugby/football pitch by the car park (in really hard weather)
c) also seen flying towards the area above the main road - presumably to roost/feed in a less disturbed place.
They sometimes hunker down just above the tideline but this depends upon the height of the tide (obviously!) and disturbance from walkers/people taking their dog to the toilet
