Aberaeron

There was not the quantity or mix of birds at Aberaeron on the Thursday 24th Oct that Ian saw at Llanon/ Llanrhysted. However 6 whooper swans on the sea was quite exciting as they appeared to be resting taking it in turns to get their heads down and slowly drifting out to sea, 41 cormoronts were flying south in v formation 1 group of 35 1 group of 6, height and purposfull flight suggested they were bound for pastures new. Only 10 golden plover with one attendent page, a good number of med gulls mainly 2nd year and at least 8 rock pipits, and 1 whetear.
Does anyboby know where the golden plover go at high tide?
