Aberystwyth Knot and opportunistic Robin

This morning a juvenile Knot with one deformed leg with a party of a dozen Turnstone and half dozen Ringed Plover on the beach just south of Castle point, Aberystwyth.

From my kitchen window I could see the turf being pushed up by a mole going along his tunnel.Worms fled upwards into the grass for the convenience of an opportunistic Robin following the mole’s progress.
