A bit late but c150 golden plover at Aberyron on saturday 5th october plus 8 rock pipits 3 meadow pipits.
Of interest last night tuesday 8th oct at 1705 a group of around 70 birds long tailed tits ,great tits ,blue tits ,coal tits, goldcrest, phyloscopus wrbs and a nuthatch suddenly appeared in damson and hawthorn shrubs in front of the cottage just outside Lladdewi Brefi. The birds were almost certainly going to roost, although such groups are not unusual at this time of the year I found it quite an interesting spectacle.
