This morning Bob and I must have just missed Ian and we spent quite a time scanning the stubble and ploughed fields to the south of the beach car park. As Ian noted, plenty of Skylarks, Meadow Pipits and Linnets and a handful of Reed Buntings but we could not find or hear anything special amongst them.
After lunch I went to Tanybwlch where a couple of Wheatears were on the beach.
