Had an old birding friend staying for couple of days so we spent some time around north Ceredigion. 9am at south Borth was very quiet except for 5 Chough and a force 6/7 wind and rain head on. So on to Leri boatyard where birds were also scarce but we did have a juv Arctic tern fishing around the confluence of Clettwr Leri and Dyfi.
11am we headed down to Llanon whee we had 3 flocks of Linnets totalling some 300 birds c50Med gulls of varying ages a juv Common Tern flying by, lone Chough, Peregrine, sev Rock Pips, c30 Skylarks, some very well marked male Reed Bunts and a Wheatear.
