Ring Ouzel

Braving the wet the Bird walk group completed the route and were delighted to see Red's target bird, a male Ring Ouzel, standing on a blocky scree amid the golds,greens and greys of the mountainside near Tyn Cwm at the start of the Teifi valleys walk.  Overhead a number of kites, vocal ravens and 2 sparrowhawks terrorising the thrush flocks.  Flocks of smaller birds were difficult to scrutinise given the conditions but the occasional dry and bright patch did allow appreciation of this superb valley.  Elaine has the list.
