Aberystwyth this afternoon

At about 12:30 I had a stroll along the prom and was delighted to see 23 Turnstones on the shore near the castle and 5 Purple Sandpiper snuggled on the sea wall close by.  I had a look at the old college as well. I might have seen the back end of a Black Redstart briefly, a bird which could have been one darted over the rooftop, but I'm afraid I can't be sure.
