John, we saw one taking coupled black darters (Sympetrum danae) over the house this morning, did you get to see whether your three were adult/juv or mix? I couldn't make out any red thigh patches on this one but I know that can be really difficult to see. They are not here in the numbers of previous years and certainly the one I logged nr the waiting room fairly regularly in late May was an adult because it was sitting and allowed good views.
