We had a flurry of activity over
the last few days in July with the non-breeding Swifts feeding over the wooded
areas in Bow Street but they all appeared to vanish at the beginning of August
(as they usually do). My breeding pair are holding up well and the two
youngsters have about a week to go they are just starting serious press ups and
peering out of the entrance.
