Llanrhystud
Nothing much at sea and few waders apart from 3 Common Sandpipers. But some passerines were moving through; 7 Wheatears, a Whinchat and a Willow Warbler skulking among the pebbles and weeds in the car park. Just 4 Med Gulls. I noticed that nearly 400 were in Aberystwyth the other day. I have a theory that the birding fraternity in the north of the county are luring them there with cold chips and left over sandwiches but have absolutely no scientific evidence to back up this suspicion. Yet.
