On the way home from bridge in Aberaeron tonight, a barn owl very purposefully flew across the road just before Aberarth. Amazing to think how they cope with the rain when they cannot hunt. Maybe the limitation rather than habitat this side of the UK. Just to clarify, I was coming home from bridge, not the owl.
