The Grey Herons below were at Maesllyn earlier with the usual wildfowl and three male Tufted Ducks.

After watching a hunting male Hen Harrier yesterday I was joined on Pont Einon by a couple from Welshpool, then Pat and Gary and then Arfon turned up. No more harriers but we were later treated to a hunting Barn Owl. Also around were Little Grebe and Little Egret.
