Beautiful afternoon on Cors Caron. The colours in the early spring light were superb. Robin, blue tit, great tit, coal tit, long titled tit, sparrows, bullfinch, goldfinch, gold crest, blackbird, jackdaw, crow, mallard, wigeon, Canada goose, heron, buzzard, red kite, hen harrier (female) and barn owl. Was treated to a lovely display of the barn owl hunting in the dropping light adjacent to the main car park. Couldn’t get a decent photograph as it stayed below the tree line - wonderful to see though. The river walk is still flooded from the north end - passable with care in wellies perhaps but not walking boots.
