Cors Caron and Pont Einon

Tonight (Wednesday) before the hail came down there was a Sand Martin feeding frenzy at Maes Llyn. At its height, my conservative estimate would be 120 birds at least. Also two Moorhen and a small number of teal (8 compared 23 yesterday) but no sign of the Canada and Greylag Geese that were present yesterday.
Also spotted my first Cors Caron Swallow of the year. Several Chiffchaff along the railway line. Yesterday at Pont Einon good views of a pair of Grey Wagtail, with the female carrying nesting material and 3 Lapwing in the distance.
At our garden feeders in Tregaron 3 Lesser Redpoll, the first we had for a very long time.

Please NRW people refill the feeders by the Cors Caron car park given the weather forecast.
