Cors Caron waders

A heavy frost but brilliant clear sunny morning on the bog.  Green piper on the flash with 2 redshanks, a heron and some teal.  Curlew calling and a lone lapwing displaying over the west bog.  Water rail was 'singing' not screaming and a cormorant was successful catching fish in the big pond.  With water levels dropping I'm hoping for some more waders to drop in.
At home one of our pied flys has arrived with a redstart singing in the hedgeline.
