Denmark Farm birdwalk

There were 9 of us for a very cold but sunny morning walk at Denmark Farm Conservation Centre yesterday.
23 species recorded, with the highlights being excellent views of a male pied flycatcher (and brief view of a female), plus tree pipit, bullfinch and lots of willow warblers. There was plenty of opportunity for revising all the songs of the more common species too, especially from a very vocal nuthatch outside the training centre.   Tea and biscuits were very welcome at the end of our 3 hour stroll.
