Little Ringed Plover and Grasshopper Warbler at Ynys-hir

I had a most enjoyable visit to Ynys-hir today. Birds seen included: Little Ringed Plover, Grasshopper Warbler, Pied Flycatcher, Wheatear, White Wagtail, Blackcap, Great Crested Grebe, Black-tailed Godwit, Greenshank, Goosander and numerous Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler. Two unexpected sights during the visit were a Bat flying around at 1.30 in the afternoon and a very determined and aggressive Song Thrush chasing a Jay away.
