A group of 6 Choughs flew very low up Cwm Wyre, Llanrhystud yesterday
morning,
well within the valley rather than overhead. No doubt they were
trying to
avoid the strong winds but were still buffeted hard by gusts as
they
headed inland.
A territorial spat between Dippers on the Wyre led to
one flying high and
wide away from the river into the open before arcing back
to the water
upstream. Never seen one leave the river channel before!
