Escapes from captivity

Naomi Davis has reported a Bar-headed Goose at Ynys-hir, photographed by a visitor yesterday, and asks about previous sightings and possible origin.
I replied to her query and was reminded that the species was regular at Ynys-hir in the recent past (and occasional at other sites) and that there used to be an appendix after the systematic list in the Ceredigion Bird Report giving brief details of escapes from captivity.
So I checked the back issues of the report and find that the last time these exotics were included was 2007.
Perhaps people no longer report escaped birds, but if they do a summary in the next report may be of interest.
