After a disappointing high tide at the Saltings hide yesterday I decided on the Ynys Feurig hide this morning.
Much better, as on the Breakwater fields were 19 Black-tailed Godwits, two Green Sandpipers, at least 40 Snipe and around 250 Teal.
Also around, distributed between the fields and the estuary, were ca250 Curlews, a few Redshank and Lapwings and a good count of 33 Little Egrets.
