A dead Buzzard
underneath power lines across my field in Aberaeron on Christmas morning was not
a welcome present - it had taken up residence in late October and seemed to be
doing well. Broken wing. That makes one Red Kite and a Magpie over the past few
years.
I've written
to Western Power to see if they would be willing to fit reflectors or whatever -
not particularly sanguine about getting a positive response.
I wonder how
many bird kills under unwatched power lines are missed?!
