And this evening as we walked out to the main hide a cormorant flew over our heads and six whoopers were flying downriver. We passed Liz snell on her way out to watch the harriers at dusk.
Thanks to John V.'s information from Maesllyn today as well, I shall add that to my totals - a redshank in mid-winter is pretty unusual.
