Ynyslas

Three pale-bellied Brent Geese at Ynyslas this morning and a Great White Egret dropped into a field a little way up the estuary.
Not surprisingly, lots of water everywhere; this is the field where the Cattle Egrets were.  On it were 140 Lapwings, 44 Oystercatchers, two Redshank, a Dunlin and a Little Egret.
The sea at Borth seems to be devoid of birds these days, except for Common Scoter.  I counted around 70 today.
