Ynyslas today

As Ynyslas is my 'patch' for the later half of the year I thought I'd get some early birds on the patch year list before September comes around. Today's outing included a Water Pipit from the pillbox, a ringtail Hen Harrier and Merlin from the Leri and the Whitefront and King Eider.
A male Bullfinch in the gardens near the boatyard was a cracking patch tick, as I'm fairly sure its a site first for me. A lonesome Long-tailed Tit in the dune scrub, a Barnacle Goose amongst the Canadas and a flyover Goldfinch also made it onto the patch list Fantastic to see so many birds around Ynyslas, thousands of Golden Plover, hundreds of Thrushes, loads of ducks...plenty of stuff to look at!
