Grasshopper Warblers - Teifi Marshes

Three / four Grasshopper Warblers singing this morning, one with a slightly aberrant song, more on this later. Otherwise warblers were quieter than of late.

More on this Grasshopper Warbler
.... A repeated call like a Corn Bunting from low in the reeds on the Teifi Marsh needed further investigation. A search of  Xenocanto found this call @xenocanto  which points to an aberrant call of a Grasshopper Warbler, with these notes..
"Aberrant song, apparently most often rendered in autumn. Somewhat reminiscent of song of Corn Bunting "
(research by Wendy)

Also around the Teifi, 1 Purple Sandpiper below the Cliff Hotel where also a couple of Wheatears.
c7am two Pink-footed Geese flew over....
