No sign of migrants at Nanteos Lake today but at least 10 Moorhens and a great deal of courtship activity among the resident Little Grebes. One of three Grey Herons was an immature bird.
There was also a female Blackcap behind Morrisons and two Bottle-nosed Dolphins off Constitution Hill which attracted the attention of a flock of scavenging gulls.
Some interesting sightings from a friend of Chris's who lives in the same area, including a Redstart on the 5th, a Swallow entering his barn a couple of days ago, a pair of Greenfinches and a pair of Redpolls.
